I'm flying out tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving and then back tomorrow afternoon. I've never had to park at the airport for Thanksgiving and was worried about availability in the long term lot, so I called the airport and was told they expect the long-term lot to fill up. I then asked about the Economy lot and they said to call back before I left home so they could tell me which lots had spaces. Forgot to ask about valet parking. Here is the map to the economy lot as well as the overflow and remote lots: http://www.mccarran.com/images/03_Gr...rkingFlyer.pdf The phone number to call for parking conditions is (702) 261-5122.

LOL from friday to monday when u call that number I'm the one answering the phone!

I work there and the best bet would be to head over to the economy lot first. Its cheaper and less hassle than the garage.they are also doing mass construction over at the garage installing new equipment that will one day make it easier to pay for parking.

We flew out of McCarran on Thanksgiving day a couple years ago and parked in one of the overflow lots. It was past the regular overflow lot. But still plenty of spaces.

I heard on the news the other day that parking this year will be better than years past due to the addition of several new lots.

Either way, good luck and safe traveling!

Thanks. I'll be the guy passing two packages of Sara Lee dinner rolls through security.

I saw someone get their jello confiscated at security a few weeks ago, so forget about trying to bring cranberry sauce or turkey gravy (Mmmmm, gravy) into the cabin. Here is some advice from the TSA for the holidays: TSA: Helpful Hints for Holiday Travelers
