Last time I visited Las Vegas, Sahara had 5 dollar steaks with the works. Thats how bad the economy is, the steaks were actually tasty.

The Sahara was one of the worst hit casinos. They even have 1 dollar blackjack which is unheard of.

The Sahara is a dump. City Center is definitely better than the Sahara.

The last time I was at the Sahara, I got terribly sick from the buffet. Though I do want to try their $1 Black Jack tables

$1 Black Jack and FREE beer looks like I could spend a few hours playing. How was the cocktail service at the tables? Yes I know nothing in this life is free, I do tip well for drinks.

The Sahara always had low limit bj tables. Even when the economy was ok, they had $2 tables. When I was there in March, 2008, I played at a $2 table...when the economy was sailing higher and higher.

Seems boring to me. After your little run at BJ table, what's your winnings $12. If i am going to waste time at a table, I want to profit from it.

In a few weekends, we will be visiting Las Vegas and am anxious to see City Center, however we will not stay there. Will it appeal to non-gamblers, non-smokers (ok boring!) people like us? We like fine dining and to see the shows, although Elvis is not too appealing to us. We like the Vegas glitz, lights, and tackiness, but we also like the Manhattenization concept which is why we like San Fran, NY, and Seattle. I am very anxious to see if City Center adds or detracts to the Las Vegas experience.
