If you have insurance, most have a listing of preferred providers...start there and call them with questions....

I go to the eye doctor at LensCrafters on Lake Mead, across from the soccer park. I used to go to a very thorough one on W.Sahara, which is a long drive from where you are Airics. Clearvision eye center. But they were very thorough. Much more so than the one at LensCrafters.

Lenscrafters does not do a good job with prizms...[I have 11 diopters] the best I have found is Craig Hamilton on Pebble near Eastern.
I went to Lenscrafters because Craig is reallllly far away....I went back to my old glasses they were so bad.

You're probably much more knowledgeable than I am about this Airics, but for what you are looking for, wouldn't it always be best to see an M.D. versus an optomitrist or optician? I've always been under the impression that the Lenscrafters and EyeGlass Worlds usually only have opticians and optomotrists?

my prescription tends to change about every 6 months (especially after a migraine)....ive been through opthamoligists (good but cost a fortune and i dont have vision insurance)..

pinky is correct, the doc at lenscrafters was ok but seemed to be getting irritated because i was slow with the answers.. but he was the one that told me that my left eye is not communicating with my right eye and that is why when tired, i can see 2 tv's etc... drives me nuts.. i actually think the prism is wrong in my glasses..

I only used LensCrafters for awhile because they were on my old insurance plan. Before that, Clearvision. Now that I don't have any insurance, I don't go to any eye doctor. The last time i did go, last january, they were surprised that my eyes had improved and told me to keep my old prescription.

If you have eye problems you should see an ophthalmologist. Dr Shah on Charleston and Campbell is one of the best. I've been seeing him twice a year.

There are a lot of good optometrists and opticians in Las Vegas. I really like Dr. Chiodo, an optometrist. Vision Centers LV.

If you need a retina specialist, I've been seeing Dr. Jayne once a year since he did my surgery about six years or seven ago.
