I recently read on another city's forum on here that no matter how bad the economy gets, you can always find some kind of work in Vegas.

Do you think that's true? I don't live there but have been bouncing back and forth between Vegas and a different city to move to in 2011 or 2012. I found that statement interesting and was curious as to what you guys think. There has to be some glimmer of hope somewhere.

Dream on. How much time do you have?

I would pretty much suggest you have a bankroll that will give you a year to find a job.

well, the city job I applied for in SEPTEMBER I just found out yesterday has now a "hold" on the hiring process. this is the city... and it's directly reflective of the economic situation in Las Vegas right now, one which I believe is one of the worst in the country.
