Default Disabled wheelchair user trying to move to Las Vegas...

Hello,

I know this would not be your typical letter but I found you as well known experts on Las Vegas and hoped as somebody who really actually Knows Las Vegas you might have some suggestions... I know you are probably really busy so I will get directly into my letter which starts below:

Dear Las Vegas Local person,

I got the idea of contacting Las Vegas media from Steve Harwell (singer of the band Smashmouth) who lives in Las Vegas.

I am really hoping to move to Las Vegas. I am a severely disabled wheelchair user and have alot of pain. The cold wet weather here in the S.F. Bay Area makes things even worse. I had hoped to buy my first house in Las Vegas more than 3 years ago although it has been even harder than I imagined it would be!

If anything it has become even more of a dream as my rheumatoid arthritis has gotten worse and means I am in pain almost 24/7. When ever I have visited Las Vegas, in the coldest or hottest time of year I have felt less pain. Not only do I feel better but I take less than half my usual pain medication and have more energy! I feel so much better when I am in Las Vegas it is almost miraculous.

I have been looking for jobs and getting information about living in Las Vegas for what seems like forever and have even managed to apply for a few. I had a couple of phone interviews that went quite well but obviously they were trying to fill their job immediately and I was not ready to move yet. I have experience in TV and film production, in P.R. publicity and in the disability advocacy benefits etc. fields. I could send both of my resumes if you have any ideas or suggestions.

I know I will need to live in an apartment or rent something temporarily but my last big dream is to buy a house with a swimming pool in the wonderful dry heat of Las Vegas!

In order to actually be able to make this happen I will need any and all the help I can get. I know it would make a great human interest story though so anybody that helped me would get good publicity. After all they would be helping make my dreams come true!

If you have any ideas on good resources or possible contacts in the Las Vegas area I would appreciate it. If you could suggest people and venues who might cover a story like mine I would be forever in your debt!

I think my only chance of actually being able to move to Las Vegas will be to get my story out and maybe somebody would help me..

Thank you very much,
