I don't know about Gleason, but I can't tell you how many times that big stars have had to cancel their shows due to Vegas Throat. It takes a little while to acclimate to the dry air, and they don't always have that luxury; so they'll get it on opening night and have to cancel the first few days. If people go on vacation long enough they'll sometimes get it when they return home; especially if they've been to a humid climate.

Speaking of humidity, it was over 90% here yesterday. I didn't look at what it was today but I had a slight humidity headache. It was making me hurt all over yesterday. Now I know what my dad complained about when he would have "rheumatism" and predict rain. It seldom hits 90% here even when it's pouring rain.

It's pretty standard in the Washington, D.C. area, even in the suburbs (at least the MD suburbs).
