Davie, what ever you do, I hope you have a good time and are able to check out the city as a whole. Maybe you'll even find employment while you're out there. Be safe and have a good time. Too bad I'll miss you by a week or I could have shown you around a little too (I know LVD is going to help you). Remember a vacation is different than living there.

Ride a bus off the Strip for half an hour. If you want to hear the worst of Vegas just ask a passenger, you'll get the saddest story you ever heard and think life is hell. After that everything and everyone you meet will seem great! Just taking a bus to the airport recently for just 10 minutes I had to hear this guy tell me how he got evicted from his place a month ago and while packing up his car with his stuff someone came along and stole it. So now he rides the bus.
