A little off subject, but I am currently reading:
"Thinking in pictures" by Temple Grandin
She is autistic and has written several books. In this one she talks a lot about the different types of autism and how best to deal with children depending on their particular type.
I have no background in the area, but her book is riveting and actually makes me want to work with autistic children (and I don't even like kids!).
I second! Phenomenal person and inspired reading.
