Unfortunately, yeah.

They check your DOB on your ID and then put a sticker on your casino club card for all to see.

I've never even been asked to show one ID at the Orleans (where we normally go) much less two IDs.
UPDATE: Went to the Silverton today for Senior Monday and ended up going to the dinner buffet for $5. I gave the cashier my club card which she swiped at the register and then she asked for my wife's card as well before she would approve the second $5 buffet. This was a change from when we went two weeks ago. I don't know whether the policy changed or if I just got a cashier that was being diligent in adhering to the policy, but two cards were definitely necessary today.

BTW, I played the slots for a couple of hours before we ate since the poker room was closed, and I won a whole $9.45 (better than losing, lol). So dinner for two cost me 55 cents.

SOMETIMES if you have a 2 for 1 coupon they will give you half off on a single. Doesn't hurt to ask......As Mom always said, the worst they can say is no.

We just launched a great new website where you can search for senior discounts in your local community. It’s called Sciddy and can be found at Senior Discounts from Sciddy | Where Seniors Pay Less. This is a completely free site and we hope that seniors will find value in the service we provide and that this translates into real savings for them. You can also submit your favorite senior discount to help others in your area save. Give it a look. Again, it’s free!

About a month ago I went there for the Monday dinner buffet. Got there pretty early & the line was looooooooong! I went to the front & asked the hostess how long it might take to get seated & she replied "usually about 2 1/2 hours". What the....? What have you experienced for lines there?

The best deals I know of are in The Entertainment Book. We've been using it for years. But don't do like we do ...we put in the glove compartment of the car so we won't forget to use it ...and of course, we forget to use it. But it always pays for itself even though we pay full price at the beginning of the year. Right now, for the remainder of the 2011 book year, it's way cheap. I don't pay much attention to when it comes out since they just automatically send it to us and charge our credit card, but we just got a notice that they are about to send us the new one. I think you'd have plenty of time to use the 2011 book though. They send emails of daily deals too, which I've been deleting because I wasn't sure if it was phishing or not. But reading this page, I think I'd better pay more attention to the emails.

The 2011 Entertainment® Book Offers Great Savings - Discounts for Restaurants, Shopping, Travel & More!
