How did your car get so beat up? Was it like this when you bought it?

I never saw a car that was so beat up where the paint wasn't knocked off too.

Just one other thought. A fifth of vodka a day would buy a nice car.

There is an HOA here and only one, the developer is the HOA had owned the land built the houses and lives there still. There is nothing to be done with him everyone is afraid to vote him out.

Woah, LVD! I used to have a piece o' crap car too, but yours takes the cake! Mine looked bad, but ran so well, so I understand your point.

I'm in the middle of a house hunt, and I can say that I definitely notice a difference between HOA communities and those that don't have one. The one's without tend to have a million cars parked all over, trash in neighbor's yards....I can see the difference. I'm not excited to pay an HOA, but I'd rather do that than deal with an undesirable situation.

Anyone who moves into a neighborhood with an HOA knows in advance, they sign papers agreeing to abide by the rules, etc. Then they start whining when they break the rules, even though they agreed to them to begin with.
The worst problem I have with the HOA's is they keep raising the monthly dues.

LVD, fix your car and the problem is solved. Quit blaming everyone else when life seems it's not being fair to you.

I thought we agreed to be cordial to each other? Obviously you can not do that.
