really persistent (pounding the pavement all day filling out apps and making tons of follow up calls) about how long do you think it would take to land a job with sufficient pay ($8.50 hr+) and more then 30 hours a week?

Job market here in Vegas is the worst I've seen in my 20+ years in the area. Even when the economy was bad elsewhere, Vegas always seemed to thrive....not now. It's bad

This is very bad news to hear. I was accepted into a limmited entry nursing program at CSN and Im from out-of-state. My experience is in IT, specifically 10 years of Microsoft Web Development. I've posted my resume on Monster.com and all the big names, and not even 1 hit. I have to have a job in order for me to move to Las Vegas. Whats up with the job market there??
