Are you trying to say that the only jobs available are "maybe" at Casinos and Fast Food Restaurants?

Vegas has always been a service based economy. Of course they are not the "only" jobs available, but they are the most plentiful.

I agree here. Even during the boom times, many of the jobs offered in and around LV were not that great. It's not even that they were bad jobs, but they were more like jobs than careers. Not only were they targeted towards people with less specialized skills, Education and experience, but they typically didn't offer as much in the way of advancement.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. These days, even the lower-end jobs in LV are a tough to come by, let alone the more lucrative ones. Remember, it's not just LV that's hurting. Some places are clearly better or worse than others, but there aren't too many places that are booming right now.
