Default Lennar Antelope 89149

Hello all,

Anyone have any thoughts on the Lennar Antelope subdivision in 89149? I will be a Las Vegas resident for the next two years then most likely will be relocating to a new city. My employer has a home buyback program if for some reason I cannot sell on my own. Or if the finances work out, perhaps I could rent the place.

I am looking at the 3 bedroom 2.5 balf approx. 1500sf floor plan. I see short sales/REO for sale for as low as $100K with some past solds for under 100K. Anyone have any thoughts/advice on whether I can snatch one of these up for 100K? I just find it hard to beleive these things can depreciate much more...

These look like they could be a great alternative to my current rental situation and it seems like a great deal financially when I run the numbers.

Anyone know how high the HOAs are and approximately what annual taxes are?

What am I missing? I know these are dense parcels, but since I am not planning on living there forever, I do not care.

Anyone live there and have some insight?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

It is an ugly development. I have had a couple of investor turn it down for rentals in recent months.

You can do a lot better in Centennial than that joint. Keep looking.

Try the Astoria developments or even Beazer. Or move across the freeway. Hell even the Pines is better than Antelope.

Asider from the three stories I consider it the bottom.

Thanks for the reply. I just got back from driving through and did not realize how the homes were arranged facing eachother in cul de sacs. Not a fan. Do you know the names of the specific Astoria/Beazer developments you are referring to?

Thanks in advance for your advice.
