Default Can help legally immigrate to United States? ))

Ladies and Gents,
In light of the latest news on Immigration to US who can help a good fella
to get a job offer in States? I know it sounds funny, but I'd accept any offer in Training Administration and delivery, NGO activity and related fields. I hold a Master degree in Public Administration. Ready to answer any questions...
Anyone?..

You are [possibly] qualified for a H-visa, but now you need to find a company to hire you, first. Try Search Jobs. Find Employment. Look for Work & a Career | Monster.com or some other job-search website. Or hunt for companies you like or are interested in and start sending in your resume to their job application web pages. Or look for a multinational company with offices in your homeland and the United States.

You may also want to apply (every year) for the diversity visa lottery. USCIS Home Page and/or Wikipedia and/or google will help you learn more about it.

Good luck.

Hi sponger42,

Thanks for the tips. Believe me I'm trying hard on that.
And I surely apply to the DV Lottery every year.
Hope I'll finally succeed in finding an employer ready to get into that whole process with H visas... But it's truly very difficult when you don't know someone in States...
That's SOOOOO pity that illegals and criminals make United States "shut the doors" in front of us. I believe you need more diversity in approach to immigrants.
Immigrants are always different. And even if I desperatly wish to come to USA I could тумиук break your laws,...even realizing that may never get there...
So not fair!..

Negresco, the US immigration laws may not be perfect but your estimation of them, their justification and efficacy is also faulty. Suggest you do some real research before crying foul or "not fair"!

A good place to start is the uscis link linked in the first "sticky" at the top of this forum page. Happy researching!

Thank you for your reply, STT Resident!

You know even the President Obama said: "Indeed, after years of patchwork fixes and ill-conceived revisions, the legal immigration system is as broken as the borders. Backlogs and bureaucracy means the process can take years. While an applicant waits for approval, he or she is often forbidden from visiting the United States –- which means even husbands and wives may be forced to spend many years apart. High fees and the need for lawyers may exclude worthy applicants."

And another quote: "Now, stopping illegal immigration must go hand in hand with reforming our creaky system of legal immigration."

So, ....my words are not groundless. But my purpose was not to blame the American Immigration system, but express my regret on that...
The uscis became almost my homepage for last years as well as many other US official webpages. Analyzing everything I choosed the most relevant option - receiving of a Wok Visa, but for that I need
"Labor certification and a permanent, full-time job offer required."
And know, please, tel me where do I get it?
I have never been to United States, but I'm not like that snotty teenage
who woke up one morning and said to himself: "Hey, why don't I move to US?"
I'm 32 and we have 2 kids. Our elder son has Down Syndrome. You probably know what it is. But you don't know what it means in Azerbaijan.
So let me tell you that it means that you'll become a social outcast with no right to work or get a normal education and as the best option can only count on pension of 40 backs a month (prices here are as big as in USA). Go ahead and survive. I believe that nobody wants such a fate for his child. So,...I'm sitting here at my desk and trying to find a tiny possibility to guarantee a better life to my kids.
Thank you!

Life in Europe is more expensive. It's hard to find job in there. And the assimilation and integration in most of the European countries is more difficult than in States.

Not only dreamers need America, but America also needs immigrants for economy and population growth. (this is really a short and simple answer)

If I want to go to States I do it legally. Mr Obama or neither of Senators is my uncle or aunt or I did not bribe them. And they did not fell in love to my beautifull eyes. USA needs immigrants that's why there's a legal means to immigrate to America, including DV Lottery for 55 000 winners.

When American people feels that's enough it'll close out all immigration programs.

Unfortunately I doubt you'll find any employer willing or able to sponsor you for a working visa with a Masters degree in Public Administration as I doubt this is a highly sought-after degree and any position requiring such a degree could easily be filled by a US citizen.

Ok. You are right.
But, per instance NGO in States can hire/invite servant all over the year (I have experience of working in several International and US NGOs).
Plus, a self-employed american (small business holder) can also hire such candidate like me. The question is how to stimulate them to do so. What should be their motivation.
Plus as I said American immigration legislation does not give much choice to immigrate legally. Will see, maybe President Obama will initiate a more proactive approach to this.

I'm not sure what the first part of your sentence means when you say "..NGO in States can hire/invite servant all over the year .." unless you're talking about the hiring of a domestic worker/nanny who still has to have a short term visa. All of these positions are short term and many go through an agency who pays all the requisite fees. Although you worked for a US NGO that would not have been in the US, correct? A US NGO overseas of course hires locals.

"Plus, a self-employed american (small business holder) can also hire such candidate like me."

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm a small business owner but I can't hire a non-US citizen who doesn't have a working visa and there's no way I could ever afford to sponsor and guarantee a foreign worker. The basic rules still apply whether one is a small business owner or a large corporation - you can only hire a non US citizen if the position can't be filled by a local applicant.
