F1 Visa to Green Card
Well, old topic about my job offer aside. This is my new perspective.
Since I want to avoid immigrant to US from my country (Vietnam) which take from 10 to 18 years. If I got an F1 visa then how long I need to stay in US for my relative (citizen) to sponsor me a green card? And even if they can file the sponsor for me immidiately then how long it would take for me to get a green card?
Thank you and have a nice weekend.

Aunts and uncles (Sisters of my mother and her husband). So I guess it depend strongly on my aunt.

They cannot sponsor you for a greencard. Only parents, children over 21, spouses and siblings.

Then how can they sponsor for my relative?
To make it more clear. She's the fourth sister in my mother's family. Back around 6 years ago. She sponsored for the whole family of the third sister (my third aunt, her husband, their under 21 son. And 2 years later they also sponsor the older 21 son). Now the family of the third sister reside in San Jose while the fourth sister and her family are still in San Francisco.
And no, there's no illegal immigration here.

In short, because there was a sister, not just an aunt. Sister 4 sponsored sister 3; sister 3's family was allowed to immigrate as derivatives. The nephews could not have come on their own.
If, say, your mom is sister 2 and interested in immigrating to the USA, and you are under 21, then sister 3 or 4 could petition for their sibling, and you could then come as a minor child of sister 2. If you are over 21, once your mom is in the USA, she can sponsor you.

No. Getting a sibling immigrant visa takes between 11 and 23 years, depending which country she is from.
