Need help with N-400 case status
Hello everyone
On march 1st ive passed naturalization interview at Federal Plaza.
I wasnt given the oath letter right after interview USCIS officer told me that i have passed the interview and i will receive letter about oath date by mail.
after that ive been checking USCIS website for my case status first time i checked about 2 weeks ago it said that my status was "post decision activity" supervisor had checked my file and i still had to wait for final decision.
Today i checked my status again and i was shocked
it went 3 steps backwards and now it says: "Request for Evidence Response Review"
it also says: On March 20, 2012, we received your response to our request for evidence.
i havent sent any response or anything.
please if anyone knows tell me whats going on with my case

you'd be advised to phone the NS-something
National Customer Service Center ( 1-800-375-5283). give them your case number.
the case status thing can "break" - for our papers it showed as "nothing found, please reenter the case number and try again" but when we asked a USCIS officer they said it'd been in their system and was being processed properly so it could just be the online system being wonky.
best of luck

I'm curious, what kind of background check did the USCIS do when you applied for citizenship?
