Immigrants move from one country to other in search of better opportunities, career, financial status.
By working in Foreign countries and sending Remittances back to their Home nation, they are actually building their country.

Which would be ok if it didn't come at the new country's expense, which it usually does in the case of low skill / illegal immigrants.

Demand & Supply. If the country demands low wage workers which can be paid less then minimum wage, then such low skill or illegal workers will come.

Policy makers decide immigration policy to help Big Businesses often at the expense of Local workers.

Nobody wants high salaried immigrants, everyone wants benefit by giving less money to immigrants (high skilled or low skilled).

The reason immigrants don't "fix" their own country is the exact reason why we move out of high crime neighborhoods instead of hang around and "fix" them.
