If I remember correctly, there are no special quotas for brother/sister visas, they use what is left after children/parents/unmarried children visas are issued for the year.
Since there are not many visas left, it usually tales a LONG time to get your sibling here.
Last time I checked people were waiting around 10 years (this was about 15 years ago).
Hopefully, things changed for the better.

Have you read through the relevant section of the USCIS website?

USCIS Home Page

I believe the wait is still one of MANY years and, noting that you're in Canada, you cannot sponsor any family member unless your primary residence is the US.

For siblings right now it's ages. Right now they are accepting change of status requests for the cases approved in:

For Chinese: Aug 8, 2001
Indian: Aug 8, 2001
Mexican: Oct 15, 1996
Philippine: March 22, 1990
Everyone else: Aug 8, 2001

So basically, depending on your country of birthn (not nationality, it's always country of birth) between 12 and 17 years, give or take.

If comprehensive reform passes, the category for siblings (F4) will disappear

Suggest you read the link posted earlier,

to understand the immigration system and requirements. I think the bottom line in answer to your question is "no not at all likely".

Based on 750 gross per week it depends on how many dependents are on the tax return.
