Good Day. I am considering moving to Canada and the information available is such a blur. This is the initial questions prior to deciding where to move as its a huuuuge decision
Background: I did electrical Engineering and I'm completing my Masters (MEng). My professional registration is also done and its affiliated with Washington accord. My husband is a medical doctor and currently completing his fellowship in anesthesiology (FCA), he also has a diploma in anesthetics (DA).
Questions: Will I be recognized as a professional engineer in whichever province/state or is there any other processes that needs to be followed? Could you please refer me to some career websites popular in Canada so I can look for jobs
My husband has friends who moved there as specialists and started working immediately as such (unfortunately we don't have contact with them
so we don't know how they transitioned). I know that FCA is accepted in Europe and Australia without any further exams (with an exception of an English test), is this the same in Canada? When I do an online search its referring me to some GP (general practitioner) stuff and internal medicine exams which is not what I require information on - thus I am lost
The third is of-course where to move within Canada. I know people say Vancouver is warm and beautiful. is it over-saturated with people. which province would be good for us career-wise and tolerable weather-wise.
Shed some light and help me with my dilemma - pretty please or refer me somewhere where I can get some info
