As I suspected most of the information I need is in Italian and I don't read it. Hubby is only 3rd generation over and qualifies for dual citizenship (as does our daughter) for US and Italy. I'm trying to get all the documents in order and see what I need to do next but I just can't find it. I've googled some stuff but mostly it comes up as pages off blogs and such. Does anyone have the gov't link or information on what I need to get this application process going? Thanks!

If you are interested in obtaining Italian citizenship then you need to try to integrate to the culture and learn the basics of Italian language.

If you need some documents or certificate in Italy, don't hire any lawyer over there, could be very expensive.
There are some agencies, named Agenzia disbrigo pratiche, doing this job for bucks.

Have you contacted the Italian Embassy or closest Italian consulate to see if they can be of any help?
