India, and China on our southern, and northern border. Now that is a scary thought.

Both are nuclear powers. Each country has over one billion in population. It would be very difficult to control the masses of poor willing to sneak across for a better life. We would be overwhelmed.

Lol.. the OP is implying that we turn the entire country into Asians so that makes the country better because we are smarter... We aren't the best because we are smart, we are the best because our government wasn't founded to control us but we control the government. Unfortunately over the past several decades, the government has been sneakily trying to control the people through entitlement programs... you want to make America better? Get rid of entitlement programs so we can end the corruption in the government... you can't improve something when a large voter population is paid to look the other way with entitlements... illegal immigration has nothing to do with making America better but it does have a lot to make America worse and so does uncontrolled immigration... its no wonder almost EVERY country controls immigration...

I believe it was Japan who said that if they controlled Mexico, it would be one of the richest because of its rich natural resources.

No cerveza; no trabajo? (no beer, no work)
All joking aside: some of the 'Mexican' food is damn good-------especially a properly made (with good ingredients) chimichanga or carne asada burrito.
And; many of my fave architectural styles have what honestly would be 'Hispanic' elements.

Is anybody so daft as to believe the U.S. would not survive as a first world nation without immigration from Asia? In 1965, when the immigration act was passed -- the one where our leaders swore up and down that the ethnic balance of the U.S. would not change -- was America not good enough? What has gotten better as a result of decade after decade of immigration? What has the U.S. accomplished that could not be accomplished without millions of immigrants?
