I agree with you malamute. I see that brother are in the same categorie as steph brothers and sisters...To me there is a difference. What if parents have divorced many times over and all these half brothers and sisters are coming over here. How fair is that to a blood brother or sister who is very young and the parents are allowed to come here...
I also agree that the diversity should be looked at very carefully and not too many of one country should be allowed. In some countries parents get like 10 kids....
On top of that it should be mandatory to speak and understand the language. If you need a translater the person shouldn't be allowed IMO or have a certain time frame in which they learn the language.
In the Netherlands they have changed it so it is now mandatory to speak the language and know about Dutch habits...this because the language barrier was not getting the immigrants any jobs and they would soon be applying for soc. sec. and their kids wouldn't speak the language either!
Why would you move overseas if you won't put some efford to learn the habits and the language....IMO you have nothing to add over here in a positive way!
you have such a great point it made me think about alot of things of back in the day too.One thing that gets me sad is that no country in the world is as great as yours..I wish i could help decline the numbers off immigrant population for you but i am one of does please understand that for some of us going to our native country would might mean death.
