At one time, Japan ruled Korea, making Korean children learn Japanese, and for some reason, Japan has been reluctant to have foreigners live and work in Japan historically.

Maybe Japan likes itself and wants to stay Japan . Maybe they leraned by observation of what can happen when a nation has no borders and is run by traitors for past 55 years ?

I guess you can afford to lay out on the French Rivera if others are working to build a nation that can protect you .

I do agree though that Americans work too long of hours and not enough vacation time . But it did take a lot of labor to make us the strongest nation on earth . We are who they all call when in trouble .

Of course now that we have been invaded and perverted by polititions we are dying as a nation .

It allows you to move to GC and to move from one H1B to another within the US.

Still, the fact that Japan has a history of keeping foreigners out, and at the same time, taking over other nations and imposing its norms on other nations(as a national government) sounds hypocritical at best.
