Europeans - No longer Immigrating to US?
Why aren't Europeans, esp. Western Europeans immigrating to the US anymore?
I have heard 2 opposing viewpoints on the subject matter.
One side says that the current US policy, system, and diversity quotas literally discourage/restrict immigration from non-minority, white, European nations.
Other side argues that Europeans, esp. Western Europeans resent the US and US lifestyle and are much happier with their system of government and social services at home.
What gives?

Or there just isn't any reason to immigrate? Most people immigrate out of economic necessity these days. Europe no longer has teeming massed of impoverished looking for a place to start over and make their own.

The USA isn't viewed in high regard anymore...at least in most of Europe and parts of South/Central America.

True if you've travelled there recently you know you have to be on the defensive.

I think the above post nails it. If you are making a good living, have the material things in life that you want, money in the bank, a good job and you are not oppressed why move? Why have to retool your education and/or skills. Why learn a new language and risk years of culture shock and possible discrimination. But it is not just the US. Many say that immigration by European skilled and unskilled works has dropped off to almost nothing in Australia as well, another immigrant nation. Things change and we are living in a period of change unprecedented for a couple of centuries at least.

Mnay people in Europe want to immigrate since they had it with the government and how muslims are getting more and more power and it is like the police, etc are scared to do anything against them. So many people have had it. The US laws make it very hard to immigrate and that is withholding them, otherwise many more would come.
Most are going to Canada or Australia just because it is almost impossible to immigrate to the US in a legal way. Illegally is easier and cost less, but Western Europeans will never do that, that is more for the former Eastern block, Mexicans, criminals, etc.

As you stated.
Between below replacement level birthrates and solid First World affluence in most majority 'White' nations (outside of the Middle East)--------their citizens have little incentive to leave these days.

The old quota system has been turned on its head and Northwest Europeans are no longer at the top of the heap. Besides, if the 1965 immigration overhaul hadn't happened we wouldn't be the Colony of the World that we are today, and the American component of Madison's great race wouldn't be on schedule for entering the dustbin of a future irrelevant obscurity (but after all who cares, right?).
Apropos, Northwest Europe is in the grips of its own demographic Winter and can ill afford to lose more of its indigenous peoples, lest it hasten the colonizing triumph of today's mujahideen before our managers & technocrats enjoy the last of the West's delights. Once we're all from the Ganges it won't matter anyway.
I suppose we can always place our hope in an ill-defined culturism.

That's a strange attitude for someone claiming to be a U.S. citizen. You find humor in the declining dollar?
