4.2 Million Americans Out of Work Since Obama Administration Has Taken Over?
4.2 Million Americans Out of Work Since Obama Administration Has Taken Over? What is the rational for allowing immigration to continue as it has been? Since we have few jobs, should we allow immigration to continue running amok?

Are you blaming Obama on the current economic situation?
Wow... that clearly shows your high IQ level...

Some jobs currently available need people that have already been trained professionally that are not available within the USA at the moment.

Um, if you understood the post correctly, and considering the thread, you would have correlated it with the fact that this nation does not need any more people competing for OUR jobs.

This mindset is amazing. Your stating that the U.S. is so pathetic we must look elsewhere to find eligible workers? Exactly, what type of workers are you refering to?? You may not be aware, but this country has an abundance of workers in virtually every field. We don't need to import ANY workers. Particularly, since this nation already has too many people, and not enough jobs.

Were this nation to have enough well educated and trained people you would have a point. Unfortunately this is not the case in a number of industries. FYI - immigration does not only encompass employment.

My roommate's consulting firm pays for employees to come here from China, India, Pakistan, and Bulgaria. American citizens apply for the same job, but they found the applicants from these countries to be better qualified.

You make a statement, back can't back it up with any fact. We do not lack college graduates, and yes, colleges still turn down well qualified Americans from attending their schools...usually white males.

The case may be, that they pay these people a "slave" wage, in return for the big chance at working in the U.S. which virtually anybody in any of these developing nations would give anything to do; nobody in any of these inferior countries would pass up any sort of chance at coming to the U.S. If you really believe this country, with its considerable population can't find "qualified" applicants, and the greatest colleges in the world, then you are in complete denial. And there is no point in arguing with somebody, that completely lacks objectivity.
