Chinese waitresses on East Coast originate in NYC
I have been to several states on the East Coast and I have eaten in many different Chinese restaurants. It seems like every Chinese waitress I have talked to said that when they first came over here, they stayed in NYC for a few weeks/months until their "boss" found them a restaurant to work at.
I can only imagine how many Chinese girls are sitting in NYC right now wondering where they might end up at.
If anyone on here is familiar with this practice and has seen it first hand, please feel free to comment...
