Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but google plopped me here, so here i am.
My mom is a naturalized US Citizen. She recently got divorced, and is seeking to change her name on her Naturalization certificate to her maiden name. She's already completed the name change on her Social Security card , so her new card now has her maiden name.
What's the process like to get the naturalization document changed? And, along the same lines - how about her US Passport? Does she change the name on the passport before or after the naturalization certificate?
If you go to the first sticky on this forum you'll probably find the correct answer in the USCIS site which is linked. I deleted my last post as I misread your question and gave you the information for a GC holder but the USCIS site is very informative and detailed. Cheers!
