My girlfriend and I plan on visiting various sites throughout eastern PA...Valley Forge, Gettysburg, Lancaster, Steamtown. One of the things I would love to do is stop by Bethlehem Steel and take some pictures. I know Sands occupies the area now, but just how much of the old Bethlehem Steel is still there? Are the blast furnaces still there? Is it worth taking a trip there for some pictures? It's a one of a kind site and would love to see it in person before everything is gone. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think there is still at least one blast furnace standing. They're planning to make a museum at one part of it. You might want to contact the people here - bethlehem : steel (http://bethlehempa.org/steel/ - broken link)
