Although Lower Macungie is a great area, keep in mind it will add on at least 20 mins( more during rush hour) to your commute over the northern areas of Parkland.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't see the pictures you posted.

Can you help me with these 2 houses...what areas would these houses be considered part of: 6576 Carmel and 6224 Wheatland? Is this by/in any of the developments you listed here? If we do move up there, I will defintily talk to you about the youth org...I have Coached all my kids Teams here in Philly and would love to stay involved with them if I can.

Yes - both developments are in this area. The Wheatland house is in Brookside Farms and the Carmel house is in Brandywine - both good developments, loaded with kids, both go to the new elementary school (Willow Lane) and Eyer Middle School.

I just wanted to mention that while it's great to get perhaps some personal information via PM's, it's really good to try to share as much info on the forum as possible so everyone can benefit.

And a little TOS reminder in case it's needed....

After working within Parkland I would have to say that if you child isn't the stellar popular kid, they will get left behind and teased. Check out- Mod cut - individual links to homes are not permitted. because those are the types of houses in the area. It is right near rt. 78 and easy access to everything. Macungie can be a bit out of the way for some people depending on where in Macungie you live. Also there is a freight train that runs through some sections- we almost purchased a home out there...until we heard the train! good luck!

Thumbs up follow up

Guess I can't post you a link to houses in a nice area of Allentown. I really like using trulia to check out different neighborhoods. I guess I am sort of a real estate junky. Meadowbrook is the development I was trying to show you- it was made by the same builders as Brookhaven but I think it is closer to everything. Commuting out of Macungie can be really difficult and time consuming! Hope you are able to find something that suits you!
