Allentown, like any city has its bad sections. Bethlehem and Easton seem like much more liveable cities than Allentown.

Temple is in Philly, and yes, it is right smack dab in the middle of the ghetto.

If you are thinking of going to Temple, it is an excellent school. Don't let the neighborhood scare you. There is plenty of campus security and you can opt to live in center city. However it is nowhere near Allentown.
