Default Real Estate Market in Bucks/Lehigh

Hows the market in Bucks and Macungie part of lehigh (Macungie and Central Bucks county).

Is it a buyers market now? Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. What does 400-500k buy you out there?

I work as a realtor and can tell you it is the best BUYERS MARKET in the past 7 years. As a matter of fact that price range is where the sellers are getting hurt the most. High end houses over 400,000 are sitting on the market. There is alot of inventory out there to chose from and you can negotiate the prices in the past couple of years houses would move in 2-3 weeks and usually had multiple offers. Right now you can certainly find a good deal. The price range you want will get you a very good size home 4-5 bedrooms with a nice lot.

Default lower budget

How about $250k? I am a first time buyer considering making the move back to Bucks County. We rented in Yardley for years and love Bucks County. What can $250k get you? I am looking anywhere in Central Bucks or Upper Bucks. We especially like Doylestown, Newtown, Yardley, Perkasie, Warrington, etc.

We are not picky, just looking for a single family, on a small lot, with 3 bed, 1.5 bath (not a townhouse)....any place we should look?
