Default raymour & flanigan furniture store?

just moved here and unfamiliar with stores in allentown. went to the LHV mall to look at furniture at macy's only to discover they don't have furniture in that macy's. the sales guys said something about going to raymour and flanigans. can someone please tell me what the reputation is of that store and the quality of their furniture? also any other suggestions of where to buy furniture (bedroom set, leather couch, etc.). looking for something less expensive than ethan allen, but nothing super cheap either. thanks!

Sorry, I know I'm not a PA resident, but I saw this thread on the main page and had to comment.

I have bought a bed set (frame with mattress, but not dresser/bureau) and a couch from them, with no problems. Almsot 10 years later, and with 2 cats (3 before) the furniture is holding up quite well. I think the quality is pretty good.

I liked dealing with them too.

I have bought a lot of furniture at R & F over the years... both at the LV store as well as their store in NEPA. I have been happy with their customer service, and they deliver quickly. Furniture is fine quality, but for higher end there is an Ethan Allen on Hamilton in Trexlertown.

We bought a mattress and some tables from them. It's a solid store, definately in the same league as a Macy's Furniture Store.

Bought a vacation home outside Jim Thorpe last summer and pretty much had an anxiety attack thinking about having to furnish a four bedroom house starting with nothing. They were great. And we are very happy with our purchases almost a year later. I would feel very comfortable recommending them.
