Just wanted to let you about my recent experience with LVH - unfortunately, I spent all day Monday in the LVH ER (severe migraine gone bad), however, I got exceptional care.

I was so freaked out about what was happening to me, and the ER was so packed, yet I received great care. I arrived via ambulance, so I didn't have to wait, but honestly, having no experience with the hospital, I can honestly say I am pleased to be so close.

Many of my friends have used them and all were very very happy. However, when my friends used them they delivered at different hospitals, now they go to Lehigh Valley (which is a plus actually and you should be very happy). Lehigh Valley has the best NICU in this area as well just in case you'd need a neonatologist for some reason.

I prefer homebirth myself, so if you are into that option I can also help with that.
I am considering home birth for our next child (not yet pregnant) and would be interested in the insight you have and the options for the Lehigh Valley area. I understand that the Lehigh Valley Midwives and Associates only do homebirths at this time. I am planning to get in contact with them; however I wanted to talk to someone who has actually gone through the process. Thank you! I can offer my email address to you if you would prefer to communicate in that way. Thanks, in advance!

Just gave birth to our daughter at Lehigh Valley Hospital and had an amazing experience. Everyone from the doctors to the nurses were awesome. We were extremely pleased!

Beth, I'll send you a private message. Unfortunately my very awesome midwife has relocated, but there are some great options around here.

I just saw this after posting in the other thread. I also had a homebirth, but I'm a bit more northerly than you ladies. I do know of a marvelous midwife in your neck of the woods, as well as a natural birth group if you want to get connected with them.
