Hi everyone!!

We are in for a major weather event starting this afternoon and lasting throughout the evening.
Rain to 3.5 inches is possible being combined with high winds and a moderate risk for some tornadic activity.

Be careful out there!

I keep hearing rumors of road closures, but can't confirm anything through PENNDOT, the PA Turnpike Commission or the local news sites.

PPL seems to have few outages in the region thus far:

Carbon 1045
Lehigh 602
Northampton 61

So far South Allentown by Emmaus at 6:15 PM we have received close to 3 inches thus far.
Some higher wind gusts but nothing yet that would constitute damaging winds.
The evening is young.

[SIZE=2]Fewer than 10,000 customers remain without power, while more than 22,000 have been restored since the start of the storm. Most customers still without power are located in the Scranton, Honesdale and Pocono areas in the northeast part of our service area.
