Warn businesses especially Asian and Latino owners with Language barriers (Philadelphia: restaurants, law)

It is shocking to me that people actually fall for this in our day and age, but sadly they do. AT least 2 people with backgrounds in telemarketing appear unannounced at businesses with made up slips supposedly from law enforcement agencies saying they are collecting for the group. A story is given that someone called before and the business usually gives. The culprits usually try to collect cash. If they get a check it is never cashed. No [portion of this money goes anywhere other than up their noses or smoked. This has been occurring throughout the Lehigh Valley, Reading, and Philadelphia. Minority businesses are targeted. Particularly a lot of Oriental massage businesses that may be shady in their own right. Otherwise mostly restaurants. Another scam is collecting gift cards from restaurants and they either enjoy a nice meal on their own or give them out to others. Tell your friends to be on guard. It is happening. In most cases this goes on friday and sometimes even saturdays.
