Widow Brown's has been replaced by Hunan Springs I think. (Miss the widow)
The Oasis is still around and some of the best Ice Cream after a round of Putt Putt.
I'm originally from Chicago so don't even get me started on Pizza or those disgusting things Yoccos calls Hot Dogs.

Brass rail does make a good Cheese Steak, imho. Tru not true Philly stile but good value for the price.

Tilghman Sq. Shopping center in So. Whitehall has Joe's Gormet Steakes. All Homemade food to order and very very good. Now he has a Philly Cheesteak, Cheese Wizz and all.

HEHE, about the Chicago dogs. Having grown up on hotdogs from "the greeks" I was so excited to be in Chicago, the home of the dog, but by the time I got past the big bun, the tomatoes and the pickles, I wasn't hungry for the dog anymore. So I guess we have to declare a hot dog cultural difference. Hehe Same with the pizza, I like a flat piece of cheese pizza that I can crease in the middle. Simple. But Chicago pizzas are gorgeous for a dinner.

There is now a Cheesesteak place in South Bethlehem that serves legitimate Philly style cheesesteaks. The owner Mike is from South Philly and he has that classic, rugged, Rocky Balboa South Philly attitude. So, don't cross him. He takes no crap! His wife is from Buffalo but she has been indoctrinated. It's on South New St. across from the Your Welcome Inn and a few doors down from the Wildflower Cafe. Mike's Steaks! Go today!

It's been a while since I went down the road, but I think there is still a Widow Brown's in Stockertown. You'd take 22 to 33 and it's a mile from the exit for Stockertown. The restraunt has closed and opened many times though due to hauntings. Might want to check it out in the phone book and call ahead before you show up to a closed restraunt.
HTH.

Widow Brown's Stockertown has been closed for quite some time. I really miss it, with the cool revolving salad bar and all the neat antiques.

The restaurant currently there is called Cozmo's (I'm not sure of the status of it) at 200 Main Street.
