Thumbs up what are thedecent townships in lehigh county

hi. I'm moving to the lehigh county area in a few months . seeking input on the decent areas to move to, where homes are for rent in the rates of 9($600-$800 month) utilities included or not,with options to buy and good schools.

Wow, that going to be tough. You may have the easiest time finding stuff in Allentown, just becareful as some areas of Allentown are not as safe as others.

I have friends that went through the Parkland School district. That district is made up of North and South Whitehall Township, Upper Macungie Township and a small portion from the city of Allentown.It is one of the best systems in the state, but I heard it's expensive but a very nice area.

Sunseeker thanks, inform me what are the not so safe parts of allentown. I really don,t want to move anywhere that's exactly like NYC with four bouys to raise. Want to make life better for them not the same or worst. U know what I mean!!!!!!!!

I don't know what part of the city of Allentown goes into that school system. I'm just writing what I saw on wikipedia. The district ranges from the bordering the city of Allentown on the southeast and extending to the farmlands to the west and northeast.

Check around Whitehall. Schools are good, If you look around enough housing isn't to bad. Having the Mall's close is a plus for shopping and the tax base.
So. Whitehall is really nice but pricey and you need a permit to take a (insert word here)
