Need help gettin a job!!!!
I moved to Pennsylvania just a few monthas ago. I am only 13 and i was wondering if anyone knows where I can work pat-time. I dont really care how much i get paid. I just need a job to start saving up money for college. So if anyone knows where I can work part-time in Lehigh Valley or South White Hall Township that would be great.

Welcome to Pennsylvania. It is admirable to see young people wanting to work rather than be lazy. My first job was when i was 13 or 14 years old at Ice Cream World across from Dorney Park in South Whitehall.
As far as a job for you you may want to look at a paper route or consult the Morning Call classifieds. Best of luck to you.

I don't think you can work at a business until you are at least 14. However, I know my son has been able to make money by pet sitting for our neighbors when they go on vacation. He also gets their mail and waters their plants. You can usually make good money mowing lawns too. Be careful putting up flyers in public places, it's safer to just talk to people your parents know.

In VA you need a worker's permit available from your school, I'm guessing PA has something similar? I doubt you will find much until you are 14, but you may find something under the table like washing dishes at a non-chain, local restaurant, plus the old standbys: baby-sitting, pet-sitting, dog-walking . . . Think about what your skills are and then try to relate those to a job. E.g. maybe you are good with computers and can help with website design?
Toobusytoday is right, always start with you and and your parents' contacts. Are there people you know who might need regular help with chores? Any of them own businesses?

In PA a 13yo may not be employed in non-agricultural business; the only other types of occasional jobs they may lawfully obtain here, and with certain restrictions are, performers in the entertainment field, caddies, news carriers, or domestic service(s) for private homeowners.
Sorry, but just like an alien you do not posses the right to work in this country!
