Schnecksville is about 25 min. from the N.J. border at Rt. 78. It is a bustling bedroom community with new developments in place and more to come. It is close to just about everything in the Lehigh Valley, including shopping, dining, health care (15 min. to l.v. hospital) etc....Parkland schools..large suburban school district. As others have indicated, there are closer communities to N.J. but, as with all areas here, there are N.Y./N.J. commuters all over the schnecksville area...good luck

How is Hellertown these days? I haven't been there in years but recall that it was a very nice town years ago...and nearer to the NJ border than Schnecksville by many miles.......

your best bet is to move to Easton it is on the border of New Jersey and 78 is right there! 45 mins later maybe even 30 you are on 287.
