Emmaus is in The East Penn School District. It is regarded as one of the best around the Lehigh Valley.
We have four districts that are always mentioned as being very good when compared to other schools in the state. In no particular order they are East Penn, Southern Lehigh, Parkland and Saucon Valley. IMHO you can't ask for much better moving into any of these districts.

I think kmom has already decided on East Penn, now she is trying to figure out her elementary school. If you look on http://schoolmatters.com/schools.aspx/q/page=sr/txt=East$sp;Penn/ust=PA/so=1/sc=0/fp=1/fltr_nb=Elementary/p=1?ctxt=962744
this website you will see that in the whole district, the elementary schools in Macungie test out the best. In the borough of Emmaus, the highest scoring one is Jefferson - but there are only two anyway.
