Taken last year at the Transformers 2 shoot at Bethlehem Steel from Sand Island.

For some reason, it' looks better in B&W.

I had to take a rented suit back, so I decided to stop and take a few pics on the way. This is about 1 mile from my house on Allentown's east side. It's a pretty puny skyline for a city of 108,000 (with a metropolitan area of over 800,000) but other angles suit it better Hope you enjoy them, more on the way...I'm gonna try to get a few shots of the night skyline and a night view of Allentown and Bethlehem. (from route 329...about 10 miles North of Allentown.)

I'm standing on the traffic barrier trying to get a better shot! This is the Hamilton St. Bridge, Facing West towards Downtown.

This is a view across the Dam on the Lehigh river (also where the Lehigh canal begins)...PPL building plainly visible.

A car's view from the end of the Hamilton st. bridge, at 2nd street.

Downtown viewed from near Allentown's southern border. (South 4th street and Emmaus Ave)

Default Wow!

STUNNINGLINGLY BEAUTIFUL photos, people! The Bluebird took my breath away, having never seen one.
I'm thinking of moving out of SE PA, and my house goes on the market in a couple of weeks. Any of those beautiful areas dog-friendly, such as parks and bodies of water (canals, lakes, streams, etc.,)? Would love a semi-rural, non-development area and would travel around a few days in August to check them out if you have a suggestion or two. Thanks!
