Good morning. My wife and I have only lived in Bethlehem for about a year. We didn't go to Musikfest last year, but have tickets for one of the main shows this year. We haven't really made any local connections, so we really don't know the best place to park, what the traffic is like (i.e. how early we should leave), and whether these offers to upgrade to premium parking next to the venue with access to a bar and AC bathrooms is worth it.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Directions & Parking — Musikfest

I have heard good things about the shuttle system and have parked in the area on a weekday. During the week, traffic/ parking isn't that bad, but I would guess it is on the weekend, so maybe the upgraded parking is worth it?

If you aren't too far, maybe take an Uber.

We generally just drive around until we get close and walk. I've never used the shuttle and we've never walked more than ten minutes to get to a venue. It does seem to be easier to park in South Bethlehem, near Steel Stacks. Last year we were 1/2 a block farther than our friends who had a parking pass and got a designated lot.

Shuttle bus is the way to go. They do a good job running them.
