Actually, if you don't like sprawlishness, I would avoid Forks and Palmer. Both townships had so much rapid development that their infrastructures are severely taxed and things like traffic and public services have quickly become major issues.
I know it.........they are taxed because of that fancy smancy police station...LOL But, they do need a high school.......really, and seriously.
Maybe it should have come before the station. You know " the horse before the cart"
But I don't agree that that area is full of traffic. It was built on old farm land......go a bit further, your lookin' at farms, farm equiptment.
When my daughter moved there, she thought.....because she came in from 611 from NJ she was just livin' in farm country, with no stores or anything.
She finally learned the back roads to all the shopping areas and parks, etc.
Are they over building .......Yes, and some planner should start a better Master Plan in a real hurry.
But......Forks is still charming. The homes are well priced. Nice, new, with lots of friends for the kids. A great park right near by.....some good soccer teams.
But........yes..........they need their own high school......How about cup cake sales or something?

If you guys dont lilke Easton, Leave! Easy as that. The High school was fine with me. School is what the child makes of it! If the kids dont want to learn they wont learn. You are going to have high taxes as long as there are alot of people in some areas! Crime is everywhere, EVERYWHERE!

Sorry....crime is every where but in certain areas crime is more prevelant then others. Actually there area areas with very little crime so if the choice was there , I would rather be in a school district with no or little crime.

No one likes to hear that where they live is an undesirable place but you certainly can't/shouldn't encourage people to move to it just because you survived. When you're making a fresh start you want to go to the best place you can afford - not to a place that has marginal schools and is not especially safe.

I LOVE Easton........just love it. Exactly, you hit it on the nailhead.........'school is what the child makes of it'. Unfortunately, from personal knowledge........
the children not making any effort, walking out, doing no homework, talking back to teachers...... so it is now.......
"What the child is making it.........(sad to say)
"Crime is everywhere.......agreed.........I say that often on CD. No matter where I go.......there is crime, crime, crime. Its Americas problem to work on........it is very widespread.
