Smile Tell me about Coopersburg?

Hi
Is Coopersburg a nice area? Are their things to do with kids? Is it a safe place to raise a family?
DO you know of any mom's clubs?

Thanks So Much!

Coopersburg is a great small town. Do a search on Southern Lehigh and you'll see my many posts. Or just scroll down a bit on this forum. Great place to raise a family. Yes, there is a Mom's club. Lots of things to do with kids from sports to scouts to dance. Our library is new and has fun kids programs. Traditional halloween parade, small schools. The only thing sort of lacking is main street is not as cute as some but it's still walkable and safe. My insurance agent, hair stylist, dentist, doctor and bank are all within two blocks of each other. There are no bad areas or places to avoid at all. Even the lower cost houses and apartments are just that - lower cost, not druggie hangouts or anything.

Actually, there is Sushi at the Chinese restaurant in the Kings shopping center. I haven't tried it, but I like their regular Chinese food. Also, I think Fresh Market in the Promenade shops has Sushi.

Coopersburg was our first choice when we were looking at moving a few months ago. At the time, there were only 2 houses in our price range listed for sale in Coopersburg and neither of them had the bedrooms we needed for our large family. We ended up in Lower Macungie and are happy here -- but Coopersburg looked very nice to us!
