I've heard from a couple different people the rumor that Wegman's will be building just south of the intersection of 309 and Center Valley Parkway - in the fields just near Center Valley Golf course. Anyone know if there's any truth to this?

Not a rumor that I've heard, but I like it!

Are you serious?! I LOVE Wegmans! I'm so excited...if that's the case...I'm not too anxious about our move.

That would be great if it ends up happening. Would they build so close to Fresh Market though?

Yes, the area jtapies is talking about is right around the Promenade shops and Fresh Market. I heard a rumor (just that, nothing substantial) that Fresh Market was going to close.

The Fresh Market we had here in MI lasted forr a year. It's a neat concept, but not realistic for everyday shopping. They had some hard to find specialty items, but Wegmans is truly very accomodating to customers' needs. I am truly excited, if it is in fact true.

I agree. I was trying to think of one thing that I've bought at Fresh Market that was really unique and the only thing I could come up with is that they have good pies but I make a pretty good pie myself. Wegmans has a huge selection of organic and natural foods plus their ready made items, Chinese foods, etc are so good! We shall see, eh?

I go there for my salad dressing. Wegmans doesn't carry it, so I guess I'd better stock up if the rumors are true.

I'm very familiar with Wegman's, but I've never been at a Fresh Market. Is it similar to a Whole Foods?
