We're moving to Trio Fields (Lower Nazareth) and looking for advice on utilities. Consumer Reports has RCN pretty high (well better than Service Electric) for internet (we don't do cable tv or phone) so we'll go with them.

I think it's UGI only for gas and Med-Ed only for electric supplier, but what about the choice of electric generators (if I have that right)?

What about trash - Waste Management, Berger, or County Waste?

Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions.

RCN has great service and is very reliable. They do tend to increase the cost over time, so that's something to watch out for (assuming you have a choice).

In terms of trash, ask your neighbors, but the prices are usually the same (like $28/ month), but some companies only have recycling every other week. I think they all will give you a free trash and recycling can.

Trash is private in a lot of the LV towns (I know, where are our taxes going?). The good news is that you can choose another company if not happy with the service.

Yup. If you have public sewer. I think it's based on water usage.

I’ve found that a transition to a new area is much easier if you don’t continually compare the new place to the old. NJ has much higher taxes so I would expect more services. Trash is pretty inexpensive and so is our sewer. I was happy that we don’t have septic! I think the cities do have trash service, just not our towns.
