Default The Teeth have broken up

Lehigh Valley-Philadelphia band the Teeth announced recently that they have decided to disband. This is a shocker to many. The Teeth were signed to Park The Van Records and gained a major following across the country. They received favorable reviews in Spin, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and others. Their performances at the Funhouse in Bethlehem were legendary and will be talked about for years to come. Despite all this the band felt it was time to move on. The members will surely turn up doing other things and their fans wish them well. This break up will create a void in the Lehigh Valley music scene. With the exception of Swimmer's Union and a few others the LV Music Scene is full of nauseous jam bands. The Philadelphia scene is still very much alive with bands like Dr. Dog but the LV is in trouble!

jimmyrocks is on a distinguished road
It's a shame to see a good Valley band breaking up. It's a tough scene in the Lehigh Valley right now. I play in a local Ska/Funk band and we have found the Philly scene to be great for us. It's just hard to pull a crowd around here. Our next show in the valley will be musikfest.
