Default RN nursing job St Luke's ATown vs Lehigh Valley Hospital

I've worked at St Luke's Hospital Allentown for a while now and I like that it's small. I really like it there. It's a nice community of employees, very friendly. Good physicians. But I'd like to know what other kind of opportunity is out there.
I live close to Lehigh Valley Hospital, and I know there's plenty of specialty areas there, but I'm intimidated by the size of the hospital. I also don't know ANY nurses who have worked there, believe it or not. What's the work environment like? Friendly? Do things run smoothly there? So any opinions or advice you can give me, I'd appreciate. The more, the better.

I know folks from my mom's church who work at both places. I have to say that the nurse at St. Luke's Allentown is far happier than the one at Lehigh Valley. I work for a smaller hospital too, and I can say that for me I definitely prefer a smaller "family type" place where all the employees know each other. Your needs may differ.

I believe the nurse at LVH will move on when her obligation is up. She got tuition reimbursement from LVH and thus has a contract to work so long until it is paid.

Hope that helps a bit!

Thanks, that's what I've figured, but it's good to hear it from someone else.
