Default Will my townhouse in Hellertown ever sell? I'm depressed

Anyone know anything about the market and how fast townhomes are selling?
Our's is so nice and in a great area, I just can't undestand what the problem is?
Maybe because potential buyers can not sell thier house!??

I want to be in a bigger house!!!!!!!!!!1

Danni, Hang in there. Anyone that has kids will be just waiting for the school year to end before they can move. It took us a year to sell our house before we moved here. It was horrible, but finally one couple came (the house was a wreck, we had just come back from vacation and I was unpacking) and a week later they bought it, mess and all. We had to buy our present house within just a few weeks and moved in a week before school started.

DanniGirl,

This market rewards 2 things - Patience and Persistance. So the best advice I can give to be patient (remember average days on market is about 65-75), make sure propery is heavily marketed on the web for exposure, and to have your property marketed as a deal. When you look at selling a townhouse (speaking broadly, not speifically because I am unfamilar with your home) townhouse buyers can be step down situations but more often are 1st time home buyers.

And with 1st time Home buyers, there is no doubt the mortgage situation has thrown a wrench into the marketplace. There have been a number of transactions that have been unable to come together because of mortgage situations, and even more buyers who have been turned away from the market because of the same situation.

So if you ride this market -you will be successful.

Thanks
Jeff
