Default Jim Thorpe/Palmerton/Lehighton School Districts?

Any thoughts on the schools in these areas? The scores aren't great
but I've heard wonderful things about Jim Thorpe. Are they blowing off the
PSSA's or is it really that bad?

Also, how's the economy and cost of living? Are they going up proportionately or is it getting more depressed? I guess I'm wondering
if you foresee a resurgence?

I'm open to suggestions........

thanks.

You can get your stats at Search for Pennsylvania public schools. or SchoolMatters - Home I would suggest posting this in the NE forum also. Most of us on this forum are more familiar with the areas closer to Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.

Default thanks....

I wasn't familiar with the one site, but use schoolmatters and greatschools.net all the time. I am looking for "real, live experience" feedback.

Thanks so much!
